How to get to UCI

Plane: The nearest airport is Orange County Airport (SNA), which is less than a ten minute taxi ride from campus. (Yes, Orange County Airport is John Wayne Airport.)

The nearest international airport is Los Angeles (LAX), which is about an hour's drive from campus (but beware of freeway traffic at rush hour). You can get shuttle service to campus, or a shuttle to Orange County Airport and a taxi from there.

Train: There is Amtrak service between San Diego and downtown Los Angeles with a stop at Irvine. The Irvine station is less than a fifteen minute taxi ride from campus. (You may have to call for a taxi.)

Driving:

• From the north and/or east, take I-405 south. Exit at Jamboree, and turn right (toward the coast). Go a few blocks and turn left on Campus Drive. Go past University Drive. The main UCI campus will be on your right.
• From the south, take I-405 north. Exit at Culver, and turn left (toward the coast). Go a few blocks (go past University Drive) and turn right on Campus Drive. The main UCI campus will be on your left after about two blocks.

How to find LPS

The Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science is on the seventh floor of Social Science Tower, a tall 7-story building across from the Social Science complex. The closest parking structure is Lot 1, across Pereira road from Social Science Plaza. It requires a parking permit, or quarters for metered parking - $1 per hour, two hour limit. Social Science Tower is building number 201 (in grid D7) on the UCI campus map.
