Graduate Student in Logic & Philosophy of Science

Research Interests

My research interests are quite broad. I’m interested in logic, epistemology (in particular, the epistemology of logic and mathematics), the ontological status of numbers, counterfactuals, underdetermination, induction, and perception. The historical figures I am currently most interested in are Hume, Carnap, and Quine. I am also interested in the evolution of altruistic behavior, and the function and evolution of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep.
