| Description: | We shall work our way through John Burgess' forthcoming monograph *Fixing Frege*, in which the author discusses various strategies of modifying Frege's logical system in such a way as to obtain consistent and mathematically useful theories. This text will be supplemented with readings from Frege's *Grundlagen* and *Grundgesetze*. As time permits, we shall explore some of the topics in Burgess' book in more detail, by reading original papers by, e.g., Boolos, Dummett, Heck and Wright. |
